The application for the American Association of University Women, Muncie Branch, nontraditional <\/span>student scholarship is now available. Applications are due Wednesday, April 1. <\/span>The scholarship is worth $1,500 and is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, effective Aug. 1, 2026, <\/span>through July 31, 2027.\u00a0 <\/span>The scholarship must be used for tuition, health fee, books and other classroom-related expenses for <\/span>the year, including summer session. <\/span>To apply, applicants must meet the following selection criteria:<\/span><\/p>

1. Students who are 25 years old or older<\/span><\/p>

2. Students who are an undergraduate or graduate student at Ball State University or Ivy Tech\u00a0<\/span>Community College<\/span><\/p>

\u2013An undergraduate student applicant must have completed at least thirty (30) semester hours at\u00a0<\/span>the time of application.<\/span><\/p>

\u2013A graduate student applicant must have been admitted to Ball State University or is attending Ball\u00a0<\/span>State at the time of application.<\/span><\/p>

3. Students who have resided in Delaware County, Indiana, for at least 12 consecutive months prior to\u00a0<\/span>the application deadline<\/span><\/p>

4. Undergraduate students with a minimum grade point average of 2.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale<\/span><\/p>

5. Graduate students with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale<\/span><\/p>

6. Students who have demonstrated financial need<\/span><\/p>

The application is online<\/a><\/span>.
