The accident, which&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 18.6667px; text-align: var(--text-align); color: var(--ast-global-color-6);\">occurred on April 22nd, 2021, at 8:24pm on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 18.6667px; font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: var(--text-align); color: var(--ast-global-color-6);\">resulted in the death of pedestrian Lyndon Williams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 18.6667px;\">Back in 2021&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 18.6667px; color: rgb(51, 153, 102);\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wnct.com\/local-news\/family-members-have-questions-on-the-fatal-crash-involving-a-kinston-police-cruiser\/\" style=\"color: rgb(51, 153, 102);\">WNCT9&nbsp;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wnct.com\/local-news\/family-members-have-questions-on-the-fatal-crash-involving-a-kinston-police-cruiser\/\" style=\"color: rgb(51, 153, 102);\">reported<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 18.6667px;\">&nbsp;that the niece of Lyndon Williams wanted &#8220;justice and to find out what led to the crash.&#8221; The news station additionally reported &#8220;a lot of people get around the Kinston area on foot.
