Post-Democrat Editor Daisy Dale will be releasing the first book available to order on our website: The Munsonians Guide to Corruption, 1905 to 1920.

From the streetcar riot that put Muncie under Martial law to the various trials of Mayor Rollin Bunch, this was the most tumultuous time for politics in Muncie. The era was fought between a wealthy elite of Republicans, what we know as the 214-Democratic machine in its infancy, and a subsequent dissident faction that tried to stop them.
