Greetings from the massive Soros-funded propaganda operation that is the Post-Democrat! While we also happen to be an entity for non-profit journalism (we don’t have a 501c, we just don’t make any money) did you know that we also are queer-owned?? Don’t let the business in the front vibes fool ya, we know our audience of shes, gays, and theys is out there. So with that, we are officially announcing that we will have a booth next weekend at Muncie Pride in Downtown Muncie! Join us anytime from 2 to 9pm at our booth, and be on the look out for the following:
Raffles
1. 3ft X 5ft Trans Flag:
We wanted to give back to our readers and hopefully draw in many more! We have three raffle prizes and tickets for each prize are only $1 each! After 9pm we will be livestreaming to announce our three winners and to reach out. All three of the these prizes, including this 3×5 trans pride flag, were chosen by editor Daisy Dale.
2. “Trans Hirstory in 99 Objects” paperback:
“An expansive array of objects chart not a patriarchal history but a gender-neutral, trans-centric hirstory. The first publication of its kind, this survey celebrates trans forebearers, highlights struggles and triumphs, and reflects on the legacies of trans creative expression.” – University of Chicago Press
3. “The Times of Harvey Milk” Blu-Ray copy:
“A true twentieth-century trailblazer, Harvey Milk was an outspoken human rights activist and one of the first openly gay U.S. politicians elected to public office; even after his assassination in 1978, he continues to inspire disenfranchised people around the world. The Oscar-winning The Times of Harvey Milk, directed by Robert Epstein and produced by Richard Schmiechen, was as groundbreaking as its subject. One of the first feature documentaries to address gay life in America, it’s a work of advocacy itself, bringing Milk’s message of hope and equality to a wider audience. This exhilarating trove of original documentary material and archival footage is as much a vivid portrait of a time and place (San Francisco’s historic Castro District in the seventies) as a testament to the legacy of a political visionary.” – Criterion.com
Articles
Our booth will feature print outs of three of our articles, such as: Man of the Hour: How Bob Cunningham Fought Muncie’s Political Duopoly, Trans Rights As Class Struggle, and Solutions Exist Already for Transparency in Muncie.
