KKK Flyers Seen in Multiple Indiana Cities

7.26.2026 / News / Daisy Dale

Early Friday morning Muncie residents found papers littered in their neighborhoods stating that a Ku Klux Klan affiliated group would be meeting in Aberdeen, Ohio. Flyers were also spotted in parts of Jay County and mention a group called the “Trinity White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan,” described as a faction of the KKK by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The Cardinal Independent, a news website run by Ball State student Vivian Bostick, reported the following day that flyers in Muncie were found near East McGalliard Road. The City of Muncie made a post addressing the situation, however only referred to the flyers as offensive without addressing the name of the hate group created after the Civil War. The post advised residents to dispose of the flyers and added that hate and division have no place in Muncie.

A similar situation happened last year when Klan flyers were distributed near two schools in West Indianapolis. The flyers also mentioned the group Trinity White Knights and also were reportedly circulating in 2024 and 2023. The City of Albany also told residents to get rid of the flyers this weekend.
