MUNCIE, Ind. — Muncie Resists members and area residents will gather on the Fallen Heroes Bridge on Wheeling Avenue at 11 a.m. and until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, for another nationwide “No Kings in America” rally – “No Kings 3.”
“Each day, Americans are waking up to the reality of the Trump regime’s
authoritarianism,” said Sarah Vitale, chairwoman of Muncie Resists. “We had roughly
500 people at No Kings 1 and 1,500 at No Kings 2, and I expect many more at No Kings
3.
“Delaware County residents know that the Trump Administration is making their lives
worse, and they also care about the most vulnerable people on which the Trump
Administration’s actions are having the greatest impact.”
“No Kings” in America is a nationwide rally with residents in more than 1,800 cities, https://www.nokings.org/#map, including the East Central Indiana communities of Muncie, Anderson, Marion and Richmond, participated in the first “No Kings” rallies and will participate again in the “No Kings 3” rally.
Millions are mobilizing nationwide to show the power of people working together for
education, economic opportunity, civil rights and a healthy democracy. “No Kings 3” also
will target the negative actions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
More than 150 progressive organizations, watchdogs, climate groups and other entities

Local organizations that are partners with the “No Kings” protests are American
Association of University Women, American Association of University Professors,
Indivisible/Muncie Resists and League of Women Voters.
